A sensor ensures the temperature stays comfortable for up to 8 hours. The built-in heating begins at the front part of the foot so even cold toes are warm in minutes. You can recharge the long-life lithium polymer batteries at least 500 times (recharge in 2 hours, 230 V charger supplied) without any performance loss through memory effect.

Hopefully there won't be any short circuit or exploding batteries with these. More paranoid folks might want to stick to a thick pair of woolen socks instead. However, it's good to keep in mind the fact that they are much more efficient than woolen socks, for the sole reason that the latter don't actually fit any type of shoe, while the insoles do, and nobody will realize that there's actually something special about your shoes.
